The corona pandemic affects us humans, not nature

Nature is not affected by the corona pandemic – it breathes a sigh of relief and is able to provide security, especially as it now unfolds in springtime.

The organic sector is not a constitutive element in the grounding of the economy; on the contrary, catering at home is making the organic trade grow. Ueli Hurter's advice: in times of crisis, we return to basic needs, and this pertains to food first and foremost. That is why communal meals with nutritious foods are especially important now. The clear air above Wuhan and Turin shows how closely the pandemic and the climate crisis are connected, and, therefore, amidst this stillness, the question of how we can build a civilisation together with nature is being raised with particular clarity.
